Gramercy Court offers Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy. The comprehensive program of rehabilitation therapies at Gramercy Court is available both to residents and on an outpatient basis. The objective in each case is to promote speedy recuperation or rehabilitation, so life may be resumed at a lower level of care. Residents are “walked” down the hallway and back to increase stamina and strength under the watchful eye of Harry, Physical Therapy Assistant. He is shown assisting a resident with her ambulation exercises.

Another therapy service provided by Gramercy Court is the Light Therapy Program. This high tech medical equipment is used to promote wound healing and pain management. This Light Therapy program is unique and not routinely offered in nursing homes. Along with a conscientious staff of therapists, the resident receives aggressive therapy treatments and is encouraged to reach therapy goals.
