IT SEEMS LIKE ONLY YESTERDAY...

Ground breaking in 1990 was the first of the many ceremonies to follow for the project. In May of 1991, Gramercy Court became official with a ribbon cutting as friends from the community joined Wellington Associates West and project consultants for a celebration of completion. Gramercy Court was finalized!

The project had its beginnings in 1986, when 3 hearty souls embarked on an adventure. Wellington Associates West, consisting of General Partner Linda Gordon, Finance Officer Richard Coffin and Senior Associate Sandra Fong, put together this massive project. Well, it seemed massive then! Consultants made up the rest of the team.

As far as Gramercy Court is concerned, the celebrations are each and every day. The residents and staff are our valued commodity. Join us in congratulating the staff for their contribution to the residents’ lives. Nursing provides physical care, Dietary provides nutrition, Environmental Services looks at comfort and cleanliness, Maintenance maintains the plant and property, Activity and Social Service provides to leisure time needs and social well-being and Administration (Human Resource, Business Office) looks at the business and staff issues. Admissions and Marketing takes care of the resident’s special needs. So you can see…there is a concerted effort at Gramercy Court to keep the machinery well oiled and running smoothly."
