Within the unique blend of care services at Gramercy Court is the Assisted Living Residence. This level of care allows the residents continued independence when their health dictates a new living arrangement. This situation could be identified as hotel accommodations in a homelike setting with an added personal touch in the form of personal assistance. The Assisted Living Residence gives the mature adult independence in a secure and protective environment. This assistance may include support in their activities of daily living as well as light nursing care. Assisted Living delays the nursing home move, as residents are frail and in need of assistance, but not yet appropriate for skilled nursing. This environment delays the need for more extensive nursing care, yet will provide light nursing as needed on an individual case-by-case basis.

Gramercy Court has 53 Assisted Living Apartments available to the frail adult. These are independent cozy apartments housed in four large country-style homes. There are short hallways to the dining room and residents dine in intimate small group settings. Each house has its own residential kitchen and dining room with only the residents residing in that house dining together. Meals are carefully planned and monitored by a Registered Dietitian to provide nutritional value. The dining experience is pleasant and the small circle of diners contribute to harmony and socialization.

The Assisted Living Residence can be seen as an extension of the resident's home in the community. This is independent living to the fullest extent possible at this particular stage of life.
